The
Crown Online academic calendar runs in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
- Fall and
Spring have two 8 week modules and
- Summer has two 7 week modules.
The Financial Aid Office needs to
know your academic year enrollment plans as financial aid will be divided among the semesters you plan to attend.
The
semesters look like this:

- Financial aid, including Federal
Direct Loans will be divided out among the semesters evenly based on a
student’s enrollment plans.
- You must be enrolled at least half-time to be eligible for
Federal Direct Loans
- Undergraduate students must take at least 6 credits total per semester.
- Graduate students must take at least 3 credits total per semester.
- Below are some examples of Direct Loan in the amount of $9,500 for the
academic year.
If
a student enrolls in all three semesters (i.e. Fall, Spring, Summer), then the
loan would be divided into thirds.
